Young Adult Church School
 
 
 
On Sunday, April 26, there was a brainstorming session about Zion church, with the Young Adults and the Sunday School leaders participating.  The results of that brainstorming session are shown below.  We will present this to Rev. Basile, the church board and other church leaders for reaction and comment.  We will then be working as a young adult group to implement the ideas.
 
What's Right With

    service

  1. Youth need to be heard by

Overall suggestions:
  1. Saturday night service - schedule a Saturday night service (like we
    used to have) since not everyone can make it every Sunday
  2. More openness to new ideas - vehicles for getting feedback from
    young adults
  3. Creat a Young Adult newsletter for distribution to the church
  4. Schedule some Young Adult field trips
  5. Classes that are more fun for children
  6. Sponsor and conduct fundraisers to contribute money to the church
 
  
 
YACS is in the process of making this room our own.
As you can see, we've just begun.  This is week 1 as we
start to paint our classroom.

Here is week 2.  Just look at the progress we're making!
Bible study, group discussions, class activities - even field trips are some of the tools we use to seek to understand and grown in our faith.  Come join in on Sunday morning at 9AM - 10AM.
