“More than 72,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in 2017, including illicit drugs and prescription opioids—a 2-fold increase in a decade.”

Dear Friends,
Addiction has reached epidemic levels in our society. And the problem is growing. Please join me in prayer this week for all those touched by its horrors.
Blessings,
Pastor Basile
A Prayer
God of life, You made us in Your perfect image, to live in Your love and to give You glory, honor and praise. Open our hearts to Your healing power. Come, Lord Jesus, calm our souls just as you whispered “Peace” to the stormy sea. Bless all those who struggle with the disease of addiction, and those touched in tragic ways by their lives. Strengthen and empower those ministering directly to them. Touch them, heal them, and reassure them of the Father’s constant love. Remain at their side, to chase away fear and doubt. May the quiet assurance of your loving presence illuminate the darkness in their hearts and bring lasting peace. Amen.
“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
